As Christmas is just around the corner, are you still pondering over what Christmas gifts to buy? Next, I'll introduce how to choose the best electric bikes as Christmas gifts.
Firstly, since it's usually cold during Christmas, temperature has a significant impact on the driving range of lithium batteries, which will cause a substantial reduction in the mileage of electric bikes. Therefore, this is a factor we need to take into account when purchasing electric bikes. Generally, we recommend choosing electric bikes with a battery capacity of no less than 20ah. In this way, even with temperature changes, it can meet our daily requirements.
Secondly, during Christmas, there will be snow in most places. So we should choose electric bikes equipped with all-terrain tires. On the market, the most popular models come in two sizes, 20 inches and 26 inches. This depends on the snow conditions in your local area. If the snow is very thick, it's advisable to choose the 26-inch ones; if it's not that thick, the 20-inch ones will be okay.
Finally, as we all know, it's quite difficult to ride a bike in the snow. So when choosing an electric bike, it's better to choose an electric motor with a bit more horsepower for a better effect. If you want to ride in the snow, we recommend choosing an electric motor with a rated power of at least 750w. And if possible, it's highly recommended to choose an electric bike equipped with a torque sensor. Otherwise, you'll find it very hard to ride in the snow.
Based on the above conditions, I'll recommend several models to you as Christmas gifts. Below, I'll tell you the reasons for the recommendations.
All of these Rattan Ebike models can be optionally equipped with a 40ah battery, which enables you to ride freely in the snow and eliminates range anxiety.
They all have 4.0 snow tires, making it a piece of cake to drive on the snow. As for choosing 20-inch or 26-inch wheels, it depends on the snow conditions in your local area.
Their motors are all powerful ones with a rated power of 750w. They have large torques and are all equipped with torque sensors, which can ensure the power needed for riding in the snow. If the snow is deep, you can choose the 26-inch Sequoia. If you want the bike to have a load-carrying capacity and play Santa Claus by filling the bike with Christmas gifts, you can choose Quercus. If you want to save space and can put it in your car on a daily basis, the foldable Pinus is recommended.
